Community Projects

CPT Community Projects: Immersive Learning in Community Psychoanalysis.

A CPT Community Project is a community training track placement that offers PINC candidates immersive learning in community psychoanalysis. Ideas for projects are developed through collaboration between the CPT and the Community Consortium network. Community Projects are conceived through dialogue, negotiating the needs and aims of both the agency and the track. CPT Projects aim to create multi-directional impact, fostering growth and creative change in all who participate: community workers and candidates, supervisors and site liaisons, participants in reflective and supervisory groups, and in the community agencies and PINC as institutions.

Projects History

The CPT&C (Community Psychoanalysis Track and Consortium) began in 2016 established by a group of psychoanalytic clinicians from both community mental health and institutional psychoanalysis to explore the possibility of developing a training track (the Community Psychoanalysis Track) and an affiliated network of community mental health and analyst members (the Community Psychoanalysis Consortium).
